How I think about Design
"Complex systems are where I feel at home: Workflows that span teams, tools people depend on but didn't choose, services that have to hold up across every touchpoint.
Cognitive psychology taught me to read these situations honestly: when navigation breaks down, that's a design problem, not a people problem. I work to keep the complexity behind the scenes, so people can just move."
"I'm working with cognitive psychology principles to structure workflows that reduce errors, support rapid decision-making, and clarify complex system logic.”

Complexity cannot always be removed, but it can be structured.

Design in action
The problems I'm drawn to are the ones where multiple systems interact and decisions ripple across workflows. I work closely with product and engineering to make that complexity navigable - so people can stay oriented, act with confidence, and trust the tools they depend on.

Designing clarity: restructuring a complex B2B platform around real-world workflows
Led a 4-month initiative to restructure a complex B2B platform used by 9,900+ daily users around real workflows rather than org-chart logic. Replaced org-chart navigation with task-driven architecture, reducing onboarding friction and increasing user confidence.
Worked across Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Sales to align the product lifecycle around how users actually operate.

Designing progression: reframing a coordination board around how work actually moves
Mapped a multi-role sampling workflow end-to-end - across designers, sourcing, and suppliers — to understand where coordination was breaking down before touching the interface.
Restructured the board around real progression stages and visible handover moments, replacing category-based logic that teams had stopped trusting. Eliminated parallel spreadsheet tracking and established the board as a shared source of truth.

designing participation: structuring decisions that feel safe to make
Starting from a blank page, I identified that the real barrier to volunteering wasn't finding opportunities - it was uncertainty about what saying yes would actually mean.
Designed and user-tested an onboarding flow that reframes commitment as a series of small, adjustable choices - using AI to explore structural approaches before converging on a direction grounded in how participation decisions actually feel.
